GHK-Cu

Copper tripeptide-1 · prezatide copper acetate

The copper(II) complex of glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine, studied as a copper carrier and modulator of extracellular matrix remodelling.

GHK-Cu is the 1:1 copper(II) complex of the tripeptide GHK, carrying the INN prezatide copper acetate. It is widely used as a cosmetic ingredient and has been studied in wound-healing and matrix-remodelling models.

Supplied as a lyophilised blue powder — the colour is from the copper complex and is expected. Not approved as a therapeutic drug product.
